A dehydrated pouch meal. This ration pouch is the same item as packed in a 24hr UK Patrol Ration pack or a Artic conditions ration pack. They are dehydrated so are three quarters of the weight of a traditional 'wet' ration.
Open the pouch, just add water (hot) to the indicated line, let it sit for a bit and then dig in. The pouches have a zip lock top as well as the normal seal. This means that they can be re-sealed after opening. Great for stashing in your pocket for whatever reason.
